alright people. The swap is done! I had a problem with the manifold burning through my harness and shorting out my whole car. I had it towed to the shop and they rewired the harness so that nothing would touch hot pipes. Also I had a custom turbo feed line made that wasnt steel braided because that was acting as a ground and it literally caught on fire and burned a hole in the line. I also have to have a couple more exhaust pipes adjusted and welded. If you have a lowered car and are turboing it, be prepared to raise it again. My car sat so low that pipes were scraping the ground. I can post pics of the finished product but I didnt have time to take pics of the install mainly because people were asking for them after the kit was more than halfway on. But anyway. Soon enough they will be up. So just have to fix exhaust leaks, tune, and also get another realigned.

alright soooo the pics i took look like crap in the dark so I will take some tomorrow morning. Oh and I went with a t70 because when I did the calculations for the motor size and etc, the motor sat right in the middle of the compressor chart. It showed that the turbo would operate at 75% effeciency. Also I saw that the others that used a gt35 would produce too much power in the bottom end. I didnt want too much power in bottom end because I already burn out in 2nd with 19in wheels. I just want raw power in top end.

Im just trying to rile him up to post pics. I dont think someone would go out of their way to post numerous threads about turboing the CL just as a prank. Although it is the internet

why would you change the V-tec engagement point? I have never really heard about changing the engagement point on a boosted application, if anything I have heard guys leave the engagement point stock, or move it to 5k rpm, b series k series and j series engines...

IIRC lowering the VTEC engagement actually results in torque loss down low.

More importantly, it can lead to detonation.

LMAO YOU PEOPLE ARE RETARDED! I do apologize for the big hold up! Ive been so damn pressed for time! I just had finals and I took the last one yesterday so I have alot more freetime. I am running into a big issue with the primary o2 sensor not accepting any input from the fic unit. I CANNOT TUNE MY CAR!!!!! Im getting frusterated. As far as the vtec thing. Yes you would lose power in a n/a setup but boosted cars loooove the early kickin. I want it to kick in as the turbo reaches peak boost. I am also having issues with dragging pipes because my car was slammed and the turbo manifold naturally hung low! So I had to raise the car all the way and have the pipes shortened but now my alignment is all jacked up! I am going to take pics right now outside in 30 degree weather and you peeps better be happy!! I would have taken pics during the install but I didnt think anyone would be that interested! so sorry. But I will take pics of all that Ive done so far. Sorry for the delay.
