well with those mods you should be able to hang with him in the 1/4 , like they say real races start from a stop after that youd be done though. what psi are you running on the vf34? if you get horribly murdered by him i cant imagine what the cls-t feels like from a roll because my brothers friend has an 02 wrx: 2.5 block, jun head, standalone w/fp green 20g (basically apu+++ or whatever you turbo people go by) at 22-23 psi and that thing scares me. 340awhp low boost/pump gas and 450+ on 116 hi-boost-oh and all through the stock trans, soon sti or xs dogbox if he hasnt already got it.

p.s. I still haven't forgotten to add 'allmotor Engineering' to the video

You will get beaten... but I haven't been in your car nor Blue's car! All cars are different. Blue's maybe faster or slower... I don't know. Considering I ran with open-exhaust, I might have an edge. Plus, I have a bored TB and port-matched intake-manifold as well. On the flip-side, Blue has only 7K miles on his car... I have 27K miles! Then again he's running the stock 'shittelins'

Just run and be safe!

I watched the video on my TV (direct from the digital camcorder) and its soooo much clearer for video and sound - anybody got better software for downloading and editing this stuff?

Record it as an full sized, meant for Tape/DVD recording, AVI. It'll be big but the quality will be the best.

What are you using to capture the video?? Are you using a DV camera with a 1394 connection or just analog capture??

It's a mini-DV camcorder and I am just streaming it via USB to this software that came with it called Image Mixer or something (it's a sony Mini-DV). I should play around with it and try your suggestions.

What model mini-DV??

Does it have capture options for the type and size of the video?? It shoudl have some settings but being through USB it may be limited.

Since I started using 1394 for DV I couldn't go back. I've actually found Windows MovieMaker 2.0 to work better for the capturing but recently have been using Roxio stuff for editing.

I forget the model #... will check when I get home. It's pretty new - bought it last year and it was pretty expensive.

Yah, I use the firewire, also to download videos from the DV Camera. I have a Sony myself. It is a couple years old, but still has the same quality and features as the new ones. It is just a little bigger then the new ones. For downloading, I've been using Pinnacle Studio which can convert the video to mpeg-1, mpeg-2, avi, real audio video files, wmv, or leave it as a DV. That last one takes up a ton of space on the hard-drive.

blue should be at his parent's house by now with his turbo CL!! Going to stop by there on the way home from work. Can't wait to see it finally!!

Pretty much... had the Comptech clutch/flywheel as well and a big-bore throttle-body.

That was the most awsome fucking thing I have seen in a while. So is that turbo kit possible on a 98 1st gen, or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

Hahha, geezus. This thread just won't die. Well then again, for extremely good reason.

Anyway motor, if I read right. You guys did this run on Sepulveda near the cemetary? Is that why I always hear people racing from my dorm room? O_o
