You'll have to get a catalytic convertor from an '03 CL/TL and use that instead of the two separate catalytic convertors.

Oh yea, forgot about that. That presents completely different variables such as tampering with the emission controls which is heavily frowned upon. Sorry, guess you are SOL.

There is probably also a third (or even a forth) O2 sensor to mess with or relocate.

Not impossible but certainly more difficult.

See.. there's a host of other problems such as wiring in the E-manage... not sure if a new harness would need to be developed etc. The first of anything is always very challenging - ask Scalbert!

well, comptech will be releasing an s/c 4 the new tl so it will be interesting 2 see how they tackle that problem....hopefully that will provide us with some insight and light into getting a turbo on a 3g tl

Comptech won't have any problems with the manifold/cats etc. I don't think they are offering a header... are they?

Sweet run allmotor!!! Could you have done it from a 1st gear roll or would you just spin? Also, can we get some more video? Maybe some "In Car" video so we can see everything just fly by

I didn't do 1st gear as it would really be pointless - it spins in 1st no matter what I do and if I shift into 2nd it completely wastes 2nd as well. Even during this run you can hear 2nd scorch the tires and I actually bogged 3rd gear for an instant due to that (wasn't concentrating)

Looking at the video again... it looks rather deceptive. Appears that the camera-car is just rolling along and I just take off. Fact is that both cars are 'pedal to the metal' as they say. Maybe another angle might have been better.

I didn't send that one... Power3dfx wants to edit/host that video. If Scalbert doesn't mind, I can send that as well.

YOU NEED TO INVEST IN SOME MICKEY THOMPSON OR HOOSIER RACING SLICKS AND SOME 16" RIMS FOR THE FRONT OF THAT BEAST!!!!!

thats pretty damn impressive, wow is all i can say!

btw, how do you intend on passing emissions inspections, etc? do you always run with no exhaust? and from the sound of the video, that thing must be louder than hell when you are just driving, do you get alot of droning cabin noise with that setup??

seriously though, for FWD cars, you need racing slicks for at the track. ive seen many GTP's at the track that are seriously modded like your CL-S and they put racing slicks on before they run and they get really strong launches and 60' times, something youll never get without racing slicks on a FWD vehicle with that much power

OH

MY

GOD!!

That is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I wonder what a first gen 3.0 could do with a turbo... The gains probably wouldn't be as drastic as that. Not at only 6 psi anyways. It'd have to be put up to like 10 psi for gainst like that, oh yeah, adn another $4k for the dr evil dtranny... I want a different car *cries again*
