Holy crap, 950$. Might as well replace the factory unit with a state of the art DVD player!

I imagine you might be able to find a button on ebay or something. If not, check junkyards. You can surely find a crashed 99+ TL/CL that you can buy the button from.

Tell the parts department to look up the radio and see how much a new knob is.

Given the graph he just posted, you can clearly see that it's item #4 from the radio unit. Print the graph, go to dealership, tell them you want item #4 and that you're not paying 950$ for it!

I just got back from audio video, they're tellin me it might cost up to 400 just to fix.....i find that quite ridiculous if you ask me.......

I have the orignal parts......its just a matter of putting it back together somehow......i don't think I would be able to sauder it myself. There's a metal piece that connects the actual button to the unit....like a pole attached to a flat surface....that piece needs to be connected back on somehow......any ideas??

Thanks for the diagram NSXNEXT!

The metal piece broke off with the knob? If so, it's gonna be more than piece #4 from above, but $400?? I'd be breaking out the superglue or buying an aftermarket HU.

hell if you stretch that $950 you could even get a Pioneer AVIC-N1 or maybe even N2. At least then you have something well worth the money.

for that kind of $ I'd just use scan/seek instead of manual tuning... glue it back in place as a dummy.
