Trunk Tray and Cargo Net
Hey bro, hows it going??? From what I can tell, you can't use the cargo net any more. The trunk tray is a piece plastic/rubber tub that goes into your trunk. I was gonna buy one, but they are a little expensive.
hey AztecRol:
Enjoy your joke of the day alot! You crack me up everyday!
That's what I figured, I am asking this because the protection package that they give for my gf's CL-S is trunk tray instead of mud guards. And I can't seem to find a way to hook up the cargo net with the trunk tray in there. oh well....

If you don't want the trunk tray let me know. We can work something out. I always have tools for work in my trunk, so the trunk tray would be nice. I never use the cargo net. I could trade you some mud guards for the tray. Let me know.

hey AztecRol:
Personally I don't like the trunk tray at all.
I will ask my gf if she prefers trunk tray or mud guards and if she wants to trade since it is her car after all.
Do you know how to install the mud guards?

I have both the trunk tray and the cargo net. To this day, I have yet to figure out how the net can go on with the trunk tray in place.
I'll have to go outside and muck around with it some more.

Well, the corners do stick up a bit, but they are under the net anyway.
You can always take a holesaw and cut a perfect circle where the net needs to go thru to the anchor point. The circle will keep the hole from "spreading", where a square cut would spread.
I didn't do this because the Wife would freak. I cannot even put a K&N in her car because it is "not factory". Don't ask; it just ain't worth the hassle.

I have both! And believe me..when you haul stuff from Home Depot...that trunk tray is a (car's) life saver.
The net has numerous stretchy loops (yeah technical name I know) but if you fold it like an envelope, in half, you can attach two loops at the top of the corners. It doesn't anchor the bottom but I have no problems keeping stuff in the net that way.
I've also had the net spread out, open, with the small loops connected at the 4 upper posts along the permiter of the trun opening. I like it folded up better.
I have noticed that the trunk tray slides a little forward (toward the back seat) which facilitates keeping a bottle of winshield washer fluid back there.
