radio issues

Having issues with stereo . I have it on a certain AM station say 680. Then after 1 minute it goes to 670 , then back to 680 and bounces back and fourth every 10 seconds or so . If I change the station to something else, it starts doing the same thing . After turning it off twice it finally works somewhat normal again . Anyone got any ideas ???

happens with FM too. but you dont notice it cause sometimes 94.1 and 94.2 will both work for a certain station.

Just turn the knob to the station you want. If you do that seek or search thing, it will change stations on its own if the signal gets really weak at anytime. All it's doing is switching over to the next closest station with a clear signal. But you won't have that problem if you just turn the knob to the station you want. I hope this helps you out.

It depends on how strong the radio signal is. If you listening to AM I can see why this would happen.. By the way, why are you listening to AM anyways?

I sometimes listen to it for Sports talk radio, and ALWAYS for Mariner games if I'm in the car.

so you guys are saying if my preset station is 680 and it hinks it is a weak signal then it goes to 670 , then back to 680 , then back to 670 again . Doesnt make sense. This is a preset station . I havent used the scan option in over a year.

680 is ESPN radio here in atlanta, that is the only reason I listen to AM .
it didnt do it at all on my way home. Something aint right, maybe I should try the dealer. I am sure they will be more than understanding and believing.
