I never knew our cars had a trunk light until the other night when my trunk was open , the light was on.

But its never came on before?
And it doesnt want to come on anymore?

Any ideas?

I pilled the bulb and its still good.
Nice clean connection?

My mom has the same problem. 2004 Accord, and the trunk light never comes on? Again bulb and connection look good.

sometimes mine works other times it doesnt dont think this helps but just letting you know youre not the only one

 

mine works all the time.. hm...

 

I have the same intermittent problem, I have tapped the trunk near the light bulb whenever it did not work, and it seems to have solved the problem.
