One of my friends has a wrx STI... upgraded to about 360hp... I drove it today and let me tell you, this car is incredible.
I have a CLS6 and when I got into it I felt I was driving a Neon.
I love my car better for the look, interior and even the transmission but just for the raw power, if anyone can have the chance to try an STI, do it... it's really worth it.

 

You gotta get the S/C, then you could say bye bye to that Neon feelin.

 

get the supercharger or build a turbo to catch up to him, just dont race him from a stop

or in autocross because as far as handling the WRX sti is the probably for the money best handling car out there. It's right there with a Z06. but a new Z06 your talking 60's and you can be in a WRX sti with tax and title for 35 grand. with the left over money you can dump a larger turbo and bigger intercooler and be knocking that beast into the 12's second 1/4 range.
I'm in the SCCA Ohio Valley Region and there's a ton of WRXs and WRX sti's and Evos in the Solo2 crew.

 

the thing is he wanted me to try it today because Subaru is putting more mods to it that should take it to something like 450HP.... I'll need more than a supercharger by then.
