Transmission SS Mode

When I drive my car in SS mode, I always mess up the shift cause I always think that the + and - are backwards.

In other words, instead of it being forward for upshift and backward for downshift, would it be an easy to switch them? It would feel more natural for me.

Thx...

why? just remember up means upshift and down means down. Practice on some arcade driving simulation games at your local arcade.

It's been done before on a TL. It basically requires you to reverse a few wires. I don't really understand why it would be more natural.

Press up to upshift. Pull down to downshift.

Its not that hard to switch, but I don't see why you wouldn't just adapt to it, especially after driving the car for awhile.

Not thinking, I did it once in 3rd. I was damn near redline to. Damn "2" flashed 'cause it was all mad at me and I quickly hit 3rd, then 4th before I broke something. Obviously, that was the last time I confused myself.

i'll let the RL guy slide because he was prolly on the rag or somthing, but seriously, people bitch at most rediculous things! im starting to crack down and "flame" right back at them though (...and hijack their threads.)

HKS transmission??

And I can see how it can be weird in the beginning as just about every other manafacturer has it the other way, but after time you should get used to it.
