Transmission help PLEASE!!!

OK, I'm an avid poster on how my car has no problems. Junker & I were going to drive to NYC tommorrow. I took my car to the bank at lunch. I stomped on the gas to pass a slow fl driver. The car studdered, & the check engine, maintance, & VSA lights came on, & stayed on, but the car still drove fine. Downshifts fine, & seems fine. The D5 light is not blinking. I'm taking it to the dealer in a little bit. THIS SUCKS!!!!!! I'm hoping it's not the tranny. What do you guys think? I disconnected the battery a few minutes ago. I will re connect it in a bit to see if it clears. This is messing up the whole trip damit!

What dealer are you taking it to? Rick Case? Let us know how long they say it will take to get your new tranny since I'm expecting to be taking mine in real soon too.

I reconnected the battery. The lights are still there. Took it for a brief spin in the pooring rain down here, & it still shifts fine. Could it be a sensor of some kind?

I'd have it checked out just in case. They may try just replacing the shifting solenoid at first, but it sounds like you'll need a new tranny soon.
