Transmission fluid

What type of transmission fluid do you guys reccomend? I know i know everyone always says use the oem atf fluid but I heard of sone guys using valvoline full synthetic, royal purple or ams oil.

Im more interested to know if you all had good experiences with different fluids or would you just stick with the oem atf?

OEM. I swapped to Amsoil and my tranny failed 2000 miles later.

I'd just use OEM fluid. I'm sure if you felt inclined to try and get Acura to goodwill anything, using a non-OEM fluid will automatically deny you that.

But really, the DW-1 fluid works great so far. Why not just stick with that? I've only done one 3x3 since I owned my car, and I'm due for another late summer. Trans still shifts nice.
