Tranny Flush After Recall

I'm ready to do my annual tranny flush and I noticed that during the recall they now have the new fluid jet going through the center of the fill plug. Does this thing just pull out? Is there anything I need to do different than before? I figure I'd ask around before I mess with it this weekend. Thanks!

Wow, that was helpful! ;-)

Yes, remove the 1 bolt that is holding down the oil jet and pull straight up. No need to remove hose or anything, just pull straight up and place off to the side. I like to put a few rags under there to catch the drips. Good luck!

$50 is not a fully flush....they just take out about 2-3 quarts and put 2-3 quarts back in. The full flush costs 150-200 bucks!!

When you put 30K on in a year I don't think it's nuts! I've already had the tranny replaced once even though I do an annual flush - and I pretty much baby my car. The tranny is THE weak link of the car. My car has over 150K .......
