I think those are nice, but no way. My bro had an 02 RSX S. Nice, but the CL blows it away imo.....

Bro, I was just thinking the same thing but as for the luxury, you wont find it in the rsx. It just seems like a really nice honda

There's no way I would trade power and luxury for a 4 banger and less luxury.

Our CLs have a lot of potential to blow the RSX's doors off any day.

May be for cheaper modding prices, and for a an engine that is cheaper to modify, and has endless shit to modify it with. But other than that, no.

i beg to differ, with a few bolt-ons/hondata the type-s is a beast.the heavy ass cl won't cut it in the speed/mod equasion.all around you are correct when you say "There's no way I would trade power and luxury for a 4 banger and less luxury." based on looks, style, luxury no comparison, hands down the cl wins

:edit: i wouldn't trade my broke dick tranny 1g 3.0 for an rsx.type-s or other........

I bypassed the Integra when I bought my 1st gen CL. (Couldn't fit in it comfortably). The last time at the dealership getting my 2nd gen worked on, I sat in the RSX. Still too small for me.

No... Even tho' it's a newer car, it's still a down grade...

Now, if you were talking about low mileage ITR (to keep it in the acura family), it might be a different story...

If you do it, make sure you're doing it for a gas consumption stand point. If you are looking for any kind of performance, you're looking in the wrong place when you compare it to the CL.

I considered the RSX when I was car shopping just because I'm going to be driving 25K miles + a year. Still couldn't step down that much in power.

to me i think there very close in power when modded...
i've seen members here run mid to low 14's with intake headers exhaust and ur pulley.

but on the other hand i see rsx type s's with intake, race header, exhaust, with a flash or hondata run low 14's high 13's

No, you might as well get a Civic. The RSX has a horrible interior and would be a step down from the CL. The RSX should be a Honda.

uh lets see...

03 CL-S = 260 HP, 232 torque
06 RSX-S = 155 HP, 139 torque
06 Civic SI = 197 HP, 139 torque

Lookin at the above numbers, if you are truly looking to DOWNGRADE, at least choose the civic.

The stats you got are for the regular RSX i think....the RSX-S is supposed to have somewhere around 210hp
