Track Time Results!!

Well..The trip to the Drag strip is a little over 60 miles from our houses. We were flying there to get to the track at a decent time. Unfortunately we didnt have any time to let our cars cool down. I went with Acura Crazy, TL_Type-S, JohntypeS, and my cousin. Johntypes got there earloer then us, and when we cam he had to leave. The weather conditions were about 68-67 degrees out, and the Humidity was about 60%. Pretty good weather for racing. We all had 3 runs each. My track times are as follows:

r/t .685
60' 2.287
330 6.357
1/8 9.586
mph 76.33
1000 12.391
1/4 14.746
mph 97.12

I ran against a new RSX-S. below was his times

r/t .651
60' 2.377
330 6.701
1/8 10.152
mph 71.25
1000 ..
1/4 15.605
mph 89.57

2nd run..

r/t .606
60' 2.376
330 6.388
1/8 9.584
mph 77.41
1000 ...
1/4 14.728
mph 94.57

I raced against an old mustang..he ran
16.611 @ 84.61

3rd Run. This was against Acura Crazy.

Me

r/t .740
330 6.384
1/8 9.609
mph 76.89
1000 12.435
1/4 14.798
mph 96.77

Acura Crazy

r/t 1.295
60' 2.342
330 6.516
1/8 9.841
mph 75.23
1000 ..
1/4 15.149
mph 91.43

There was a new M3 convertibel there. The guy definitely needed to learn how to drive. His times were a 14.7, and a 15.0

My cousin with his Integ GS-R ran a 15.9

A Z06 ran a 13.3

A new 2001/2 Civic w/ mods ran a 15.1

a new Ford Lighting ran a 13.0

We all had a good time. If we let our cars cool down before the races, we probably would of gotten some better times.

Spiro great times!

Acura Crazy, with CAI 15.1s is not bad. 91.43MPH is bit low, shed some weight.

Excellent times Spiro! You must be happy finally! Weather makes a big difference. I'm sure you could have gotten a 14.5 if you let your car cool down.

Well even though u r running over 300 hp at the crank and getting only 14.7+ times.. I think that is a good time.. what is the Z06 running 385 for the 2001 model and 405hp for the 2002 model and he ran 13.3 seconds.. slow... and don't even get me started about the 2001 M3 running a 15.0...

I agree the 15.00 second m3 time is crapola for sure. Obviously the guy just got the car and doesn't know how to drive stick That is even funnier actually. 14.7x is ok I guess but I really hope people start realizing that all these magical magazine times they live by are bogus! His car is crazy modded and still only pulled off a 14.7x. The manual version of your car will be a hell of a lot fast just by the 60' times alone. Too bad it isn't out yet and none of you guys own one...

Yeah yeah .. I'm bone stock and I ran a 15.3 best .. you can see the full report at this link for my car:
http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...threadid=20516

I saw a silver Z06 run 12.6 (someone said it was a modded C5). The lightening was bone stock.

I ran against a 10.0 second monster my second time up (my first time, I ran against a XBR bike .. 13.3 seconds for him). The guy in the 10.0x machine had a rxn time of 1.4.

Yeah that guy in the blue M3 was funny, he was pretty full of himself when I talked to him. He told me he ran a 14.0 flat, and when I talked to spiroh, who'd seen the slip, he said 14.7. What a dork. Granted, it WAS a convertible, but still. He had his two buddies cheering him on.

Why is it so hard to ignore trolls.. I mean I just want to say that he is a "brainless, useless, dickless, hopeless, clueless, sorry sack of monkey shit" but I feel its wrong for me to say that shaka is a "brainless, useless, dickless, hopeless, clueless, sorry sack of monkey shit" ... I mean that wilkl just egg him on ... if I m DID say he was a "brainless, useless, dickless, hopeless, clueless, sorry sack of monkey shit" Besides its a pubic forum and "brainless, useless, dickless, hopeless, clueless, sorry sacks of monkey shit" have every right to be here and voice their opinion ebven if its wroong and they amount to nothing more then annoying "brainless, useless, dickless, hopeless, clueless, sorry sack of monkey shit" ... but i wouldnt want to start nuffin here so I wont say that he is a "brainless, useless, dickless, hopeless, clueless, sorry sack of monkey shit"

Really please show me the link to your post on maxima.org. If you forgot to post please post in the general forum since both 4th and 5th gen maximas can see it. Both gens can match or beat you time no prob!
