Well the tranny hasn't acted up in a while but now the TPS is fu*ked.

Last time I took it to the dealer for hesitation and shutting off on my he said the code read "Low Voltage to TPS" (or something like that) and they never fixed it. Sent me home like that since he said the problem hasn't returned.

Today as I am driving (looking for a new car all day) the har started hesitating and shut off on me. I tried restarting and it sputtered and died over and over.

I waited 5 mins and she finally started normally but still lags and the Check Engine light stays on.

Q1 - Is there a quick fix for this? I know that the whole TB needs to be replaced @ $350+ but I want to know if maybe it is dirty? Is there soemthing I can check on my own?

Q2- I have 62,000 mi , will the dealer cover this?

man bro you have the worst luck with your car? what did you do to it? jk You should see if the lemon law will cover your ass?

 

If the problem existed under warranty and they didnt fix it, then yeah you have a case. Otherwise check in the owners manual, maybe you'll get cluky and the TPS has a longer warranty due to it being a emissions control part. Good luck.

And if the tps is bad, I say try a boneyard first.
