Touchscreen installed yest (pics)

http://web.njit.edu/~mxl4729/other/cl/

My friend and I did the install on the Pioneer DVD6500 yesterday, took about 2-3hrs total. I havent hooked up any of my amps or speakers to it yet, but the quality of the bose speakers has definately increased with just the reciever. Planning to do some springs (eibach) next week (ill post pics with the drop and rims) and the rest of the stereo before the summer. Also the screens picture quality is very good considering the touchscreen. Ill try and get some higher quality pics of the screen and its picture quality when I do the springs.

And I want to thank my friend Steely in CA for hooking me up with the screen/dvd mp3 ect at PPRAUDIO for an incredible price. You can IM him on aol and tell him Jon from acura-cl.com sent you. He also deals with car performance is negotiable and offers warranties. Or PM me and Ill get you his information (website # ect).

Nice work

How did you get the sides of the center console off? I need to try and get all kinds of change that fell out of my ashtray out of that area.

Go to the AV section and click on the sticky. There will be a picture of how to uninstall the whole console and bose stereo.

Why did you only go with the 6500? Why not go with the 7500? You get a lot more features.

Or, why not wait for the N1 to come out? Built-in navi from Pioneer.

It's more than just a simple dvd player/stereo/navi HU. They crammed this HU with almost everything imagineable.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is it...

The only drawback is that it only comes in the 6.5" screen...no 7" screen option...and no 5.1(?) or tv tuner.

Looks nice.
I guess we now know why you need to lie about your address to afford car insurance.

Just remember to hide the toys when you’re pleading poverty to the cops & Judge.

I talked to one of the cops and he said he would drop it when I go to court bc I gave him a soob story of how I just graduated and need my license and dont want my insurance to go up too high.

No real reason except my friend recommended it to me and thought it was the best bang for its buck. So I trusted him and it made my budget.
