Coming back from the club last night I see a red Jaguar XK8 Coupe hardtop. He flys by me and I catch up. We look at each other I drop it into 3rd and we hit it at 80. I pull about 3/4 of a car infront and I'm thinking I might get walked when I hit 4th. This is when I see first hand the power of HEADERS! I stay about 3/4 of a car infront of the Jag and by 130 I actually start to slowly walk away!!! By 145 I had him by about 2 cars so I shut it down. He comes flying by me and goes on his happy way. This was the fastest I've ever gone in my car and before the flames start this was at 3am with very light traffic. In all fairness the guy had two peolpe in his car and I was alone, but weight doesn't matter that much at those speeds, its all about HP and CD. To any one thinking about getting headers, get them you will be amazed by your car on the highway and no more 4th gear lag!

I don't think anyone on this board really cares about bitching about people speeding excessively. It's hard not to do in a modded CL-S.

Congratulations on the win, those things can be quick, my buddy had a 1999 XK8 Coupe, and that thing moved, he took it to the track and ran a 14.8, up top they were pretty strong, though, glad to hear you walked him
