Took the M Coupe to the Track

Went ot Moroso last night. With nothing more than a B&B TriFlo exhaust I managed to do a 14.2. My 60' was a 2.015. I trapped at 96mph. I'll be going back up this Friday but this time I'll bring my video camera. I'm pretty sure that I can break 14s next time around. Bimmer members told me that I should shoot for a 1.8 60"

Oh and I raced up against a SRT4 3 times, real cool guy. He beat me 2 outa 3. I was lucky and he missed 3rd. He beat me by .08 and .1 last time.

Now once I get to the point where I know that I can't launch or get the car to go any faster, it is then time to get that FKin bottle out of my bed (its a FKin great night cap

) and into the Coupe.

BAWAHAHAHA HIGH 12s here I come.

And that's why I want one of those as a second car. For $20k you can beat M-coupes... gotta love it....

yea, top end it's not too strong, it traps 96 MPH, though... so i mean, these CL-S' aren't too far off, just FWD can't cut 2.0 60's

true, actually a 96 trap is is prolly like 1-2 mph higher than a stock cl-s, modded ones vary from 97-102

Yea the S54 315hp engine can do high 13s. I have the 240 hp engine.

That there is a problem with that. I got an intake in mind, but have also thought of doing a full Euro intake swap. The switch will give me top end, but I will lose Tq. I've got some thinking to do. Turbo (?), hmmmmmm, N2O, 4 sho

Euro swap, lose Tq => counter act => add nitrous = 12.7 .

nice ride, those numbers seem really weak tho. i thought it could do better than that....
my friend just picked up a used blue M Coupe w/ 25~30k miles or something like that for real cheap. its hot as hell in person. gotta love those deep dish 18s

the s52's had the E36 motors (240 HP) the newer S53's have the 315 HP motor, those are quicker than the 14.2 posted above, but that was with a 2.0 60', and as we see a 1.8 can be achieve
