What's up guys....just thought I would say that some of the TL's are on crack. I messed around with Fastvteccl in his dad's bone stock TLS tonight and damn....those things are tough fighters from a roll. Next time we'll try to get some on video to show just how fast his TL is.

My GF has a 03 TLS and it is definately quicker than the auto CLS I test drove. After driving the auto I was really discouraged. The six speed fixes all of that though.

 

yea on my way over to zootking's house i raced a 03 CL-S auto from a light... it wasn't even a race i got him by a couple of cars

 

I'll race ya in my 6-Speed; ten laps around Road Atlanta... :P :P

 

be careful what you ask for Scalbert....it just might happen....that damn thing is quicker than I thought too...

 

I was meaning his juiced ride simply playing around as the bottle wouldn't last the first lap...

But I would still run a TL-S on the road course, that would be interesting to see how the slightly longer wheel base handled differently (provided the 5-Speed automatic lasted...:P )

 

That's an interesting thing about most car forums. Everyone talks about the 1/4 mile times. Some forums (i.e. porsche 911 forums)don't really give a damn about 1/4 mile times.

I disagree. My CLS, when stock was faster than my TLS. Both 2003.

 

I don't understand why everyone is so surprised about this. They are basically the same exact car stock for stock. I think the TL weighs maybe 60 more pounds..... Other then that they're identical..... Mods react the same on either car as well....

 

Hey Scalbert, we're probably coming to Atlanta sometime in the near future, and im sure he'll give a run with his nitrous. Im telling you though, when we run, I pull til about 110 and then something happens to his car and he slowly passes me....(looks like its time for me to get spray too :P )

But honestly, I was playing about the race as nitrous has no place on a road course.

heheh, a trunk full of nitrous bottles all plumbed up to a common distribution manifold... Bottle eight is getting low, better start bringing number nine on-line...

Yea, it would be nice to have a meet sometime. It just seems there isn't enough interest or scheduling gets screwed up for most. But maybe one day we can have a purpose and nail down a time and location to have a large gathering.
