TL SH manifold swap question
TL SH manifold swap question
What size TB is supposed to be attached to the TL SH-AWD manifold?
I am going to have to CL TB and while my build is being machined I figured I can get one of the mine bored out to the same size as the manifold that I will be putting on. That should maximize my gains when the time comes. Also you only need the upper manifold and the top plate for that piece correct?(I already have the TB adapter) Also are the inlets the same size on the bottom as the stock manifold? Or would that do well to be ported also? Thanks....
This is my DD so I would like to get the stock TB bored so that I may retain cruise control... or as I call it my ticket prevention button.

Just finished getting most of this together.. Yes u should ony need the top
Cover and upper manifold!! An te adapter u already have! The lower runners match up to the inlets on the lower side of the manifold... I had an extra set of runners so I sent them out to Paul..(nva-av6) he's on the forums, to be polished out.. Not really enlarged but had all the burrs and imperfections cleaned out!! Ended up sending my TB out to maxbore.com to have them bore it out!! Do great work and about a week turn around ! Needless to say I can't wait to get it all installed lol

Thanks for the info guys...
my TB + IM runners is going to be bored by the machine shop who is doing the rest of my motor's machine work. That way I can minimize my bills haha. Let me know what it is like when you get it all in. I know this will help my 3.5l build get the air it needs.
