just wondering if anyone knows the part number to the tl-s oem lip kit that can be modified to fit our babies?

there is a lot of part numbers... the color is different

it was called the TL Aero Kit, not sure on the numbers. you can call every dealership and probably not be able to locate one. your best bet is junk yards, craigslist, the BM or anywhere else used. seems these are extremely hard to find now.

 

^ Can't you just use the OEM lip kit.

That can still be found at dealerships from recent threads I have been reading.

Was the TL Aero Kit something else...

 

sorry for jacking this but i don't want to start a new thred,
do you think this 99 tl front bumper would fit our CL's? with a little customizing... I know the lip some of us have but would the bumper work?

ok there is a white CL out there that has custom molded the TL full bumper and kit to fit the CL. the TL Aero Kit is the OEM Acura Kit that you use to get from the dealer. this was a dealer option so not all TLs had the kit. maybe people have found them again but back when i was looking no dealer had them.

02-03 front TL Aero Lip and sides (note that the 99-01 rear and side are exactly the same as the 03s)

i can't find an 99-01 front Aero lip on the TL but basically it doesn't have the vents like the 02-03s and looks more like the rear.

 

well i beliv everything is possible with "custom", so i had say yes.
But why wud u want that (the whole bumper i mean)

 

Well i was going to convert the 01-03 TL cover to fit my CL .... but i thought it may be easier to work with the front cover of the 99-00 TL. I wouldn't have to fill up the scoop that the headilght makes on the bumper or flaten out the other side of the cover


but on the 99-00 tl all i would have to to is slightly smooth down the bumper to fender part


I kinda like the cover and driving lights

It's doable. Here is the thread of a guy who did it. It's a TL front bumper with the lip kit on it that has been modded to fit the CL. Good luck

dude, if u want the 02-03 drop it off at a shop, they'll figure it out. you have to cut the bottom half of the cl bumper vertically, then cut the top part of the tl one.
