TL Rims on CL-Type S

HI,
Will 2004 TL tires with Rims fit 2001 Cl-type S?
CL-S tire size is: 215/50/R17
TL tire size is: 235/45R17

Also the place where I saw the TL tires mentions that two tires are 9/32's and two are 6/32's.. does anyone know what it means?

Thanks
Z

yes it will fit with stock suspension. if your're lowered then it depends on how low you are sitting. and i have no idea what the #'s mean...maybe remaining tread life?

If your keeping your stock rims and upping the tire size then you will have no issues w/ rubbing. If your getting the tires on the 04 tl rims, then if you go low enough you can run into rubbing issues, i've heard. the reason is it's a wider rim along with a lower offset, +55 stock versus +45 on the tl rim, which moves the rims outer edge further out. I have the rims but i'm on stock suspension so no problems there. the 9/32 and 6/32 is likely the remaining tread depth.
