Well, if they know enough to get around the whole chip-encoded key thing and drive away with it, they'll probably be able to disable a car alarm without much trouble.

that just plain sucks. I had a lot of confidence in our cars security system. Shows how easily things can be overcome. This just sucks, WTF is the point of the embedded chip in the key if it's that fricken useless...

I wonder if his car had a remote starter in it? That would make it easier to steal.

 

i don't understand why the US won't legalize this.
