Thought I share a recent Pic....A4 towing a Honda Product!

Just purchased last week Tuesday and had fun with it this Saturday at the lake! Man what a blast that F-12X Turbo WaveRunner is!

A4 has no problems pulling it with the 1.8t! Quattro is great for the ramp!

Well its not as large as some, its one of the better handling skis, and its one of the fastest skis compared to the Sea-Doo SC which is much heavier. They are both about equal and speed and are the fastest skis out.

She offered, but I didn't like the idea of keep borrowing it for that reason. She is expecting to get rid of it anyways. She damaged her shoulder and its too hard to steer the RX now. It has really heavy steering. She is really interested in the new 2004 Quest, so she might be getting that once she checks it out and it meets her needs.

shit your gas is cheap. It was $1.59 at the corner Exxon today, and that was only because it was 8 cents off "Monday Madness".

very cool ski but i'm into the 2 stroke types that destroy our environment etc. Better throttle response and lighter for getting big air over waves(yamaha GP 800 is my fav ski of all time).

My Ski is lighter than the Yamaha 2 stroke 3 seater. And mine is a 3 seater.

Its a 3 seater, right? The one I sat on was really wide. I am not even sure if they are available in the midwest yet. I know that the sales rep in January said they would be out soon, but I am not sure. I just got a Yamaha 1300R myself and would like to run one of the Turbo Honda's or Polaris models. I don't think that they will be much of a challenge, but want to see how they run. I just finished the break in period. I beat a smaller Baja (~22 ft) in it yesterday.

Be good to run the R-12X which is the 2 seater Turbo Version. My friend has the XLT-1200 and we ran a quick burst, he is no match for me from a stop, but on a run, we were dead even. But he had no gas and I still had 3/4 tank left. I also didn't keep pushing it since I only have 3 hrs on it right now. Break in is important and I am sure it will loosen up some more once it piles on the hours. The ski itself weighs 750 dry weight.

well...you do have a turbo in that biatch which is pretty new and I have very little experience with on a ski or a bike...the power/weight numbers look impressive for it vs a similar 1200cc 2 stroker...but how come we don't see 4 stroke motox bikes with turbos if they can be made just as light and powerful as the 2 strokes? And how come I don't see any 590 lb honda 800cc 4 strokers to compete with the gp800?

My ski weighs 653 dry and has 165 hp. IIRC the only stock ski on the water that will run with mine is the Kawasaki Ultra 150.

Not bad at all. I know someone who races the GPR1200 professionally. She is all over hte forums. SuzanGPR... She says the Honda 2 seater and GPR1300 are equally matched even if the Honda is 100 lb heavier. But when I was looking for a ski....this was my criteria...

1) 3 seater with mirrors (mirrors required to tow a skier or wakeboarder)
2) 4 stroke technology (cleaner and less maintenance)
3) Less fuel consumption. The Honda willl only use 1/4 of a tank when the GPR or XLT will use a full tank at the same time interval and usage).

The Honda f12x is quick as fvck! Stock vs Stock,... If you go against one from a dead stop you will be looking at the back end of it as you try to keep up. It will do 0 to 65 in about 2 seconds, and then it cuts back and cruises nice and easy at 65. I'm just curious,...can you take a full turn, at top speed, without letting off the throttle, on those other skis?

Oh, and BTW, I tow both of mine with the Tahoe.

IIRC....The 1300R has a top speed adavantage over the Turbo Honda's. I think I read a article that stated the Honda @ 62 GPS. Riva Yamaha stated 64 mph for the 1300R, so they are relavatively close. I wanna run a Honda now and see how they compare.

I plan on doing some mods to it in the winter time. Riva Yamaha has a nice package that increases the top speed to ~70 GPS and improves the handling.

70mph? That is very questionable.....I'd like to see what they have that does that! People have up the boost on the Honda and haven't hit 70 yet.. And thats pushing at least 20more hp.

Had it out at full throttle today, 2nd tank! What a blast it was. Smooth this morning and got it up to 60 for a short period then I slowed down. It got so choppy the rest of the day it hurt me if I went over 40 on the water! hehehe.

Oh well got 6.5 hrs of fun total on it. It was fun so far. Even had to tow a boat in because they ran out of gas.
