i got the same crap from a cop goin to my house.

it's sorta an isolated 2-lane road. the cop was passing me, and flashing his highbeams at me. he waited a little while and hit his lights.

he was like, you need to turn off your highbeams

i just told him that they were off the whole time, and he put in this crap about how i was going to fast after he saw that my high's weren't on. (no ticket, nothing on my record, so he knew he was wrong)

they can't own up to the fact that they can be wrong..

must be the maryland cops...

same thing happened to me with 2 different cops two different times in the same little hick town. First time they checked them and said they were alright and then the second time the cop said I had to change them. All I have are the eurolite white bulbs. I went into the gym I go to (where alot of the state/town cops go to workout) and got them to take care if it. They said if these asses keep fucking with me let them know and it will be taken car of. Its nice to have friends in high (depending how you look at it) places.

Same shit happened to me...dumb ass copper told me that it was illegal to change my headlights....he pointed at his car and said see...they should be white like this. I told that prick that his lights were not white...they were yellow. So then the jackass goes to his car and pulls out a fuken copy of the spot where it says you can not alter the color of your headlights. I say wow that great but these came from Acura. The best part is when the dick takes that sheet of white paper (knew what he was about to do and couldn't wait) and stuck it in front of the headlight. It fucken blinded his ass and I said....see now thats some white light Asshole still didn't believe me and took down my information and said he was going to call acura in the morning and check my story out...and if I was not telling the truth...he was going to give me a ticket. I gave him the # to Acura and laughed at him when I was getting in my car. Needless to say I never heard form him again...hahahahaha fuken tool:P

 

wish we had those autolevelers like on the SC430... that shiet is PIMP looking... when you first turn it on they start moving down/up accordingly and it just looks bad ass I think... plus no more blinding poor innocnet folks...

 

Stupid cops and the end of the month crap. I feel yah jrock. Last night when i was coming home from laurel on the BW there were TONS of cops pulling people over. It was quota time for them yesterday. I was followed for two miles by a cop on rt1 and NO ONE was on the road.

 

Why is it that anyone that doesn't have HID lights hates them? Everyone that I show my car to (I just had it delivered last Tuesday) has commented about how they hate cars with HID lights. Of course they have to quickly follow up with how nice the CL-S is. :-)

I haven't been bothered by the cops yet but I'll be expecting it now...

 

It's amazing that cops are still surprised by HIDs. With so many cars now offering them - BMW, Lexus, Nissan, Acura, Audi, etc., you can barely go a couple miles without seeing at least one car with them. Either these cops are extremely clueless, or they're just bored and grasping for excuses to pull someone over so that hopefully they'll find something to ticket you for.

Yesterday, there were ridiculous cops onb the streets, it might have been due 2 halloween but who truly knows? I respect cops and all but Can't respect them if they do stupid shit like that and pulling peeps over just so they can try 2 improvise and give up a ticket 4at least something

I used to change the sealed beam headlights on all my cars to the Marchal or Cibie quartz iodide lights. The good ones with the prisms in the lenses. You could actually see where the hell you were going.

Then the mfgs. started using the aero styled headlights and you couldn't change them anymore. Bad lights, bad aiming. My 92 Integra had lights that sucked so bad I thought about bolting a white cane onto the front bumper. The 98 was better.

My CL-S is great. Good lights; a great cut off across the top of the low beams (just like the lens prisms used to do on the best aftermarket lights) to keep from blinding people; and great distance on high beams.
