Go with the 04 TL......quality and fit and finish are a thousand times better than my TL-S......it seems a whole class ABOVE my TL-S.

And the Navi w/the 8 inch screen and voice command is AMAZING.....

g35 sedan for some reason im seeing less and less a day

g35 coupe i see almost 1 a day

I havent even seen the QX56 on the road yet!

how the hell is this division going to survive???

can someone post a comparitive sales figure among acura, bmw, and infiniti

Are you kidding, brother? I live around L.A. and I see a M45 every couple of days, usually, a QX every couple of days as well... G35 sedan, maybe 2-5 a day and the G35C, 4009245020992942 a day. Plenty of FXs too. Infiniti is kicking some ass, moreso than Acura from what I understand. BMW, however, triumphs both brands (in the US).

my brother has a c230. i feel it's a really solid car. quality ride. something that was missing in the g35 which i test drove yesterday. also the g35 is more expensive by a couple of grand but the power is nice. what the c230 lacks in power is made up the by taut yet luxurious ride. but it's been in service for almost 2 weeks now due to a defective alternator and the part is back ordered. two weeks for an alternator? the ride, though is very tempting. looks nice too with bi-xenons. the IS like you all say, does lack the acceleration power at any gear. at least the cl-p had that in 3rd gear. how's the transmission issues of the 04TL? i haven't test driven one yet because i removed it from my list due to the tranny issues i've heard and read. but i have heard only a few of you comment on this. again, all your input is much appreciated.

well i'm test drove the 04TL before, if you get one i suggest manual! The automatic transmission is alright, but when i drove its a bit jerky jst like the CL, and the SS mode is the same as ours w/ the delay and the jerkiness continues. But ehe interior is very nice, and its equipped w/ bluetooth inside, so you can hook up your cell phone and/or PDA to the car wirelessly. But overall I only suggest the TL if you get a manual and it is still slower than our CL's even though it has that extra 10HP, but tht extra 10 does help! Just drop in a few comptech parts and it will be fast also The ride quality is a bit bumpy, but the suspension is very good, it corners quite well for a stock 4 door sedan.

U refering to the depreciation? seems that G35C is changing that; whose residual is not bad.

Hmm, so it makes sense the JD Powers 2004 Initial Quality Charge.

But yet Infiniti has a much better quality control.

i would hope so...
my friends altima... 3.5sl or something Top of the line man heated seats bose system... the whole 9..

the door panels feel like a honda civic, i dunno if im being too critical but if you close the door of say... a 95 honda civic it makes a high sounding slam... acura cl you close the door and it makes a resonated air tight thump... thats fuckin quality.

again maybe im being too critical but i think if you pay close to 27k for a car and you curse the day you bought it after only 2 years... not too impressive. . .
