thinking about an electric water pump

i know all the Ls1 guys do this...supposedly frees up 15+ hp...wonder how it'd work on my car?if it's possibly/ all that...chime in if you have some info

Do you know where to get a kit that replaces the water pump with a pulley only setup? Getting the actual electric water pump is no problem though. Or maybe have a stock pump modified, the impeller removed? I don't think you can eliminate the belt, since it also drives the cams off of the crank shaft.

I think the honda water pump is very effecient, plus it's driven by the timing belt. Not really any way to eliminate it.

There is a kit to replace the pump in the civics, haven't seen one for the v-6 though.

theses a universal remote mount pump...but not sure about this deal with it being driven by the timing belt
