Think I could get these welded on?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33633

I love the look of these tips...but I have no idea if I'd be able to get them welded on, and I don't exactly want to buy the fucker to not have them fit. Do any of you guys have any input or suggestions?

well obviously I don't think these can be bolted on to the stock exhaust...so could I have the stock tips cut off and these ones welded on?

the AMG emblem probably doesnt need to be welded.. I would suggest some sort of adhesive.

Not to mention I could think of 1,000 better ways to spend $100 than on exhaust tips, :ultraghey:

well, thank you everybody for your input...for those of you who don't like the stock AMG tips, that's nice for you. As I mentioned, I happen to think they look really nice.

mrsteve - thanks for pointing out my previous thread from months ago. I don't see why you called me lame for this. If you read the previous thread, I really didn't get much of an answer. Someone mentioned you could probably get em welded, but that's just one voice. Secondly, why is it that if people spend $150+ just to get the 03 mufflers for the new look it isn't lame, but if you want to get a different style tip, it is? Why be the same as everyone else? Sure the 03 tips look great, but I'd prefer to get a different looking tip, let alone buy a 2 whole fucking mufflers. Get my point?

if not those, how about these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33633

And secondly, I want to know who just gave me negative feedback about 2 hours ago and didn't put down who the fuck you are. This is bullshit. So because I post a thread asking for help on if I can get tips welded on, I get negative feedback. Blow me

thanks fellas, I really appreciate it...

so is the consensus just to stick w/ the stock 01 tips? I just hate how they're so 'blah' and dont stand out, and I don't want to get an exhaust because I love the quiet ride.

EDIT:

btw mattg, one of the rep points has a gray colored bar when I chek who left them for me? have any idea what that is?

Hey Dem1K, I'll sell you my 03 mufflers if you want them in a few weeks. I just have to receive my JetHot CT exhaust system first.
