The Things I Miss...

The things I miss about my CL that we probably take for granted and don't realize...

1. HID's

2. Heated seats

3. Light in glovebox (who would've known you could miss such a thing )

4. Storage space

My list will probably continue to grow over time but all in all, I got what I wanted...

For those that haven't seen it:

I was going to lift it right off the bat. However, I miss the HID's from my CL-S so much that I think I'm going to convert the Jeep to HID's before anything else - thanks to o2cls for finding me a place that sells the stuff.

Post up the things that you think you might miss about your CL if you were to "down grade" so to speak. If you already sold it or traded it in, post up the things you miss about it too.

I hear ya. I needed a fuse for my stereo and I took the heated seats one out and used it. I never got around to replacing it and I really miss those seats the last couple mornings.

I'm hoping to have a similar thread in a couple weeks. It looks like I can't hold off on trading my car in.

Those Jeeps are starting to look better after I talked the wife into getting an SUV.

Only things I would say is the ride, handling, & power. That's all that's lacking in my Explorer.

- Tilt-down passenger side mirror in reverse
- Heated seats
- Auto-dimming rearview mirror
- HIDs
- Sun/moonroof
- 6speed

I have to say my friend; you have yourself a machine that will last you for a while, starting to grow on me too! With a truck like that I wouldn't think about the CL. I'm also shopping for an SUV but in a lower price range than that. Looking to get into a 99 or 2000 Benz ML 320, so I will post something similar soon but not getting rid of the CL it will be an addition.

Rear Windows don’t go down
How sensitive to potholes the car is
Rattling noises from time to time
A sunroof that only opens 3/4 of the way

I had a 95 Legend Cp 6sp before the CL and there are many things the Legend has that the CL doesn't

1) Telescopic steering wheel (electrical too)
2) My doors used to close if I did not close it properly (like a suction effect)
3) Again back windows
4) Never had that engine ticking sound the CL is known for.

Because it's a public forum and I like most of the people here as well as the car. Is there a problem?

You and a few other former CL owners with knowledge, insight, humor and personality are greatly appreciated on here and should remain as long as you like ............you can be my guess!

Really? Strange, because I could have sworn this was a CL thread. I mean, afterall, I am the OP or maybe your trolling methods simply missed that.

Maybe if you were paying attention and did some research, you would find that I recently sold my (MODDED) CL and have helped countless members of this board in many, many threads as well as via PM. All of which have appreciated it.

Furthermore, unless you want to contribute what you will or will not miss if you were to get rid of your CL, I suggest you kindly depart from my thread, sir. If not and you continue to trash it up with this nonsense, I will kindly ask a moderator to delete your comments as well as my responses to keep it clean.

There is no need for you to stir up trouble here. If trouble is what you are looking for, you might try your local street racing forum. Acurazine no longer tolerates it here and quite frankly neither do I.

I bid you good day.

That is all.
