LH happens to be one of the guys i learned most from on this forum, and he is my friend, and you try to bash him, then your bashing me. and all the other AZers that enjoy him being around....if you dont like it go to another fuckin forum. which you wont find because this IS the best around...and its like that, beacause of people like him....so SYTFU.

 

Well, the thing is... I miss how the center console had two compartments, one on top and one underneath, not to mention a full console between the rear seats. Also, I miss being able to throw my change and other small items in the "secret compartment" as I called it UNDER the cup holder. Not An Ashtray I kinda still have but finally, the thing I miss the absolute most about lack of storage is that in the Jeep, I don't have door pockets like in the CL. I always used them as kind of a trash can, whereas now I don't have one at all anymore. It's weird cause almost every car I've owned has had one, even Rusty.

Oh and I don't know about you guys but my glove box AND the center console. Dont have one? Check your light bulbs. :wink:

I don't my Modded CL anymore and yet I still come on the forum and chat and still give my experiences and also expertise in some areas that I know that would help other CL Members out. Plus this is one of the most friendly forums out there that treats everyone here either new or old members like a big family. I mean I don't contribute like how much Lord Helmet does but I still try to help others out from time to time and I never flame anyone because it's not worth my time.

i had a '91 Legend Sedan and a '91 Legend Coupe 5pd prior to owning this car and as someone else said i really miss the rear windows rolling down. my coupe had that feature as well as the doors mechanically closing if they weren't shut hard enough. that always blew my mind coming from a '91 acura.

but the moment i first drove my CLS6 i immediately thought "this is my coupe 12 years newer with heated seats, a few extra goodies, a bunch more power, and a 6th gear." i also was kinda bummed that in a 2003 they couldnt atleast incorporate the door closing feature

my legend coupe was in excellent condition (so i thought) so i had a hard time parting with it but as it turns out, a month after the sale the buyer called me and said it was overheating, which had never ONCE happened to me and i had just got the car thoroughly checked out prior to the sale. so in the end i was very glad to dump legends

the only thing i wish i had in my CL-S that i dont is the navi, but that can always be fixed down the line

EDIT: why is everyone selling for SUVs? in this day and age with the environment and gas prices wouldnt that be the last vehicle u'd want?

 

I dont' get it either. I'd rather get an AWD car than a big ass suv.

 

I got the SUV because I wanted a vehicle I could take camping and 4-wheeling on the weekends, bring all my gear, and drive it to work the next day. The Acura just can't do that. Even with the stock springs installed.

Besides, the Cherokee is considered a "compact suv". :wink:

Oh, and I averaged 20mpg on my last fill up which, IMO, for an SUV isn't too bad, and not to mention, this thing moves pretty good and has lots of tourqe so I don't miss the power of the 3.2L. It may not be as quick but honestly, everyone who knows me personally will tell you that I don't drive like Andretti anyway.

 

wow, 20mpg isn't bad. I'd probably roll it with the way I take corners.

 

Most likely pullin the trigger on a trade-in soon, so here's my list:

1. angle-down mirror
2. "I like your car" comments
3. HIDs
4. The sportiness/handling - even as a stock 4x4.

 

Sometimes it's a necessary evil. I'm tired of playing Tetris wheneven we're going on a road trip with the kid. And it's better than having to grab one of your friends to help you transport crap.

Plus, most of us use Premium in our cars. I get about 22 mpg with my mixed driving. And if I got a Pilot, Pathfinder, Jeep or something like that, I'd get worse mileage, but on regular gas.

 

Did someone get banned in this thread. I need to start posting more on the weekends.

Oh, and I'm going to miss pulling through the drive thru and having the attendent tell me I have a sweet ass car. Happened this weekend, and it hasn't been washed in a week and is fully stock.
