Is there a TSB on the Moonroof rattle?

I managed to escape the rattle for about a year, but now that my CLS has 20k miles on it I hear the rattle. Does anyone know of a TSB I can quote when I go in for service? Thanks!

I don't think you will need it as it seems to be a very common problem.

I did do a search, but there is nothing definative. Everyone talks about a TSB, but no one actually quotes a number. There are a few guesses, but they are only guesses. There is talk about dealers servicing with teflon tape and others just greasing the rails. I'm begining to think there isn't a TSB, but just people getting different types of services.

Thanks a million! And also thanks for reminding me I need to change my stats. I moved away from Melbourne about 3 months ago. I live in Orlando now.

I just had my sunroof fixed....they used the teflon tape, and it is silent now! The service manager should know about the problem without a TSB #, it's a very well known issue....good luck.

I wonder how many complaints of the same problem it takes to initiate a TSB? Wayne or Jens any ideas?

You know, I didn't have a moon roof squeek/rattle until I started leaving my moon roof tiled open during work to get some air in the car. I'm wondering if the hot temperature dried out the rubber enough, that now when it is closed, my car's moon roof makes a sqeeky rattle noise.

Once it started to rattle it didin't matter what the condition is. It rattles closed, open, and tilted. By the way I "greased" the rubber, the slides, the glass, everything and it still rattles. Now it's time to see what Acura service can do.
