That's what I would. Also, you can leave the headlights on when you leave the car & turn them on when the cat is on the car.

DO NOT SCARE THE CAT.

jesus people have you no common sense?

if you scare the cat it puts its claws out and digs into your ride.

your best bet is to get some sort of animal deterrent... whether chemical... electrical... audible... whatever.

but dont scare the thing out of a sound sleep or youll be paying for it!

come on guys.. it is just a cat trying to find a warm place to sleep. It won't do any damage to your car.

sarcasm, correct?

Chod, get a hav-a-hart trap. Catch the cat, take it to the pound. A $40 trap is cheaper than re-painting a hood or roof.

Put a few more coats of Z-6 on there and the FURRY FAWKER will slide right off.

well I guess it really depends on the size of that cat. There is a little car sleeps on my front hook most every winter. No scratch on my hook at all.

Just call animal control.. don't scare the cat or hurt the cat. It is just trying to get it through the cold windy night.
