Is there a Kandy Cobalt CL?

I just picked up an 03 CLS-6 and I love the car, but it's just so plain in silver. I don't care for body kits, and haven't seen any other easier exterior mods that I like, so I decicded to repaint it. I'm looking at going with Kandy Cobalt, but haven't completely made my mind up. Has anyone ever seen or heard of a cobalt 2G CL? I'm also open to recommendations as far as colors. I want to do something that makes it stand out while still looking like a luxury coupe. Thanks in advance to everyones help.

The closest thing to that would be ABP. Or Aegean Blue Pearl. Beautiful colour, especially when it's fresh, or has been really well cared for.

Great color, however I don't think the CL is sporty enough to pull off that color. Yellows and oranges are my favorite colors, but very few cars look right with them

Essarak has a crazy red paintjob, but most of these custom paints need special proffessional lighting to show their quality in pics.

Congrats on your 03, did you get the 6 speed??
but u shoulda just bought the color you want, the blue 03 CLs is a rare, very nice color.

Changing paint color on a car devalues it, adds to maintenance issues, is costly, and makes it harder to sell.

Very true. That's why you buy a hotness colour (like Anthricite) so you don't have to do that.

If you think the resale is bad now, wait till you repaint it a different color! The $12,000 car just just bought for $20,000 will now be worth $9,000....

Yes, it's an exageration but you get the idea. If you want a different color, trade it in.

I really wanted an 04 TL and this one just kinda dropped into my lap, so I didn't have much choice on color, etc. Yes, it is a 6spd. I should have it paid off by christmas and wanted to start working on it. I need it as a display vehicle for a certain car audio company I deal with and need it to stand out a little more, however, it will be close to daily driven. My business partner is a paint/body guy, and he owes me a favor so I can get the paint for practically nothing, especially since the factory silver is almost identical to the orion silver the KC uses as a base. I also have a buddy who's a professional buffer to finish off the car. I know it will come out looking good whatever color I choose. I don't want it to come off too ricey, but want something unique. I could trade the car in, but I just got it, and feel like holding onto it until I get a little more work in it. The audio should be in shortly after thanksgiving, now I just need new wheels, coilovers and possibly a CAI and then I'll be happy. Any suggestions as far something new someone would like to see in the audio deparment as well would be appreciated. I have basically unlimited resources in that department. Anyone want a group buy?

The PDG is a good color, but the guy that would be painting the car has almost the identical color on his camaro and I can't do the same color as him.

Aegean Blue Pearl is not quite like a Electric Blue, it has a little bit of purple to it in the sun. Its really nice at nighttime & overcast days though.

I think it would look awesome in something like Electron Blue or Nassau Blue (both C5 vette colors)

Well if it's a 6 speed, you're way ahead of the game right there. Silver can look good with some nice mods and rims. I'd live with the color for a while and see how you can tweak up the car. good luck.

I actually bought a white/parchment CLS 6MT first and decided I got the wrong color too, so after a year I sold it and got my anthracite, no regrets, didn't cost me much to switch and my new car had only 7500 miles and Navi.

I thought it was somewhat close the ABP with being a little different. I might have the inside of the trunklid shot to see how it comes out.

It's a kit that uses a 90-93 accord as the base. Pretty cool little car.

Looking at it somemore, the K1 looks really dark. This looks more like the kandy cobalts I've seen in person.

Orange is sweet. Check out the Orange Prowler.
