Is there a CAI yet for the '03 6spd?

I read that Type R said that you can cut off a piece of the AEM kit but has anyone tried this yet with success? I know Shawn Xephyr works but what about an AEM? I really want to buy one ASAP because I am so addicted to the VTEC range. These cars kick ass!!!! I can't imagine the sound it will make with a CAI.

trust me...just buy the aem its the same thing as the X type(if you cut it where i mentioned...and that is a resonable spot to attach the bypass valve should you decide on that as well.......also ...youre welcome to take a look at mine and see what you think...

Listen to me

I just put the AEM cold air, and it doesn't fit right up to the throttle body but if you take out the stock air box and intake silencer you attach it to the tube and it works just as well. It'll take some time to do, about 2 hours which is ridiculous for an intake but i'll have pictures up soon to show you

Errr, why the hell isn't it fitting?? What the hell is different between the 03 and 02 Type S's besides the tranny? Is it because the TCS system isn't in there anymore?? I can't imagine the intake not fitting. Help me out here.

No VSA on the 6-Speed means the throttle body is slightly different.

2003 6-SPEED

Oh okay, well I remembered seeing this picture off of acuraautomotiveparts.net that looked like another tb, but for some reason they call it the TCS valve control or somethin.

I assume that since the 6spd has an LSD, you no longer need the TCS valve or VSA valve or whatever the hell it's called. Makes sense.

Actually the throttle body is the same. The VSA throttle just isn't in the picture.

In the automatic CL the there are two 'throttles'. One that is part of the VSA system and the second is the standard throttle. The VSA throttle preceeds the standard 'pedal' controlled unit.
