This may have been covered before but i cant find the exact anwser. See im thinking of getting a test pipe installed on friday,but before i get it what are some of your thought on it.
Does it make a very raspy sound, and the reason im not getting a high flow cat is that i cant find one for a reasonable price.

 

Oem headers, my custom test pipe, straight pipe to 2 2.5" flow through magnaflow muffler and I only have a rasp at a certain rpm, not a loud rasp but its their. With oem exhaust and test pipe I don't think u will have a problem

 

how about 2.5 all the way back with oem mufflers?

 

thats the thing i will be running a test pipe with the stock exhaust untill i get a little more funds for a comptech exhaust

 

It could get raspy, it will smell like shit. If you dont mined the smell go for it.

 

mine doesnt smell too bad. only noticeable when the car is idling in my garage.

 

mmm smell i dont care about, lol its a car not a human being but as far as the sound i saw a video on youtube and it was very raspy.

mine sounds nothing like that. guess the magnaflow mufflers make a difference.

god that sounds bad. dont delete the resonator, maybe thats what the difference was.

 

i tired to take a video with my phone, shitty sound quality. and to lazy to go through all the video shit just to get it up on the internet from a video camera.

 

What Do Yall think of a Super 44 flowmasters muffler replacing the Mid and running no mufflers after that? just pipes after mid

im gonna keep the mid muffler and put in the test pipe. Later i will upgrade to a Comptech or HKS
