I'm going to redo my exhaust and start getting parts.
I want to chop out as much as possible till a can get parts and installed.

How close can I cut the exhaust up to the last o2 sensor before having reading problems ?

 

The Last sensor Just Reads That The Cat Is Ok Or Not, No? Worse Case You'll Throw A Code.

I figure since I have another obx j pipe just sitting I will have a 3" made off of that.

 

With an o2 simulator ($40 or so) you can cut as much as you'd like

 

Well chopped that sh!t out. I havent went for a ride but it is loud and sounds far from ricy loud,like open exhaust v8 loud.
It was so loud at idle that I was talking to a friend about 8 feet away and keep wanting to shut the car off to hear him talk but didn't want to act like i was ignoring him, but it was aggervating. Going for a quick ride to see if it gained any power along with the noise.

 

I can't tell if it's any faster the sound is overwhelming and exhaust snaps sound like someone is lighting of firecrackers right next to me.Very unpleasant. I don't think i'll be doing too much driving like that.
