Teflon? Isn't that the white "tape" used to put on threads of plumbing pipes?

teflon tape is for :ghey: ... get the grease, it's much better. there's some heavy duty grease that you can get at home depot. I haven't had any issues with squeaking yet.

Grease and then use the teflon tape (which is the white plumbing tape), or was it tape, then use the grease??? Damn can't remmember, but using both should help eliminate those sway bar squeaks.

Generally the grease doesn't last that long if it's the only thing you use.

ktown: your PM box is full...

but yeah... I installed it myself... shoot, you know me... I'd never pay someone to do something I could myself. I used the grease and have had no problems yet. It's a really easy install job. Maximum 1.5 hour for both front and rear. With the right tools it'd be a 45 minute job.

you put the teflon tape on so that you don't scratch up the bar when you are installing the rear sway...put grease on and install the bar then remove the teflon tape that you warpped the sway bar with...i have never had any squeaking....
