TCS or VSA OFF ???
TCS or VSA OFF ???
I was perusing one of my CL brochures the other night
and realized the CL-S dash showed a "VSA OFF" on the
dash above the cruise control button BUT mine
has a "TCS" button.
Any other '02 owners out there with this ??
What's the story here ?
Cost saving measure by Acura?
or did they just run out of "VSA OFF" buttons the day mine
was built ?????

I guess that was the case if you have a CLS. I would say go the dealer and get a new button with "VSA OFF".

hmmm... I hope it's just the damn button!
Any other why to confirm I've got VSA ?
A fuse or somthing ????
Also this red '03 CL-S auto, it had the 2 stage seat heaters.
I guess just the 6spd looses thoose.

I assume your dash has the metallic-face gauges with a vsa indicator (as opposed to the tcs indicator on the black-face gauges for the non-type s)?

there's a manifold and accumulator under the hood you could look for, but I'm not certain it'd be easy to distinguish from the abs unit in the cl-p.

Yeah! I just was a little annoyed when I noticed the button.

If i remember correctly,
CLS has a different power inverter because it needs more amps to handle VSA than TCS in a CLP.
so maybe some electrical parts could have different model #s and handling specs. written on the parts.
