And if I can ever get my car supercharged, he offered to tune my car. That is, if I can ever get in touch with him.

Ah.

Actually, now that I think of it, where are a few other A-CLers like Chopper (Chopsie), Chaptorial just to name a couple more...?

And I know those two didn't get themselves on the banned list...?

Keith (chappy) just kind of disappeared... Chops (Andy) got a girlfriend (like that stops guys from posting) and recent bought a 06 NFR S2K (got rid of the Teg). Snaps (Kirk) sold Chopsie's old CL and got a 6spd, so he still stops in from time to time...

Just cuz you don't see it doesn't mean it's not there.

I got the funds to do the six speed swap. Now it's just a matter of time receiving all of the parts and going to town on my car once everything has come in.

As I've been doing some more searching and searching, I've came across some intriguing info.

I didn't realize that Honda/Acura uses the same 6 speed tranny for the Honda Accord (03-07) and the TL MT (04-07).

I am selling, the buyer can buy the car now, or wait until the swap is done. Which ever they prefer.

If I don't have any buyers then I'll keep it

Wait so you are going to put all this money into the car and then sell it? You aren't going to get your money back out so why bother?

I swear I'm not trying to be a cockdiesel, but you're selling the car because you're expecting an addition to the fam. Do you think it's really wise to dump all this $$ into a car that you're probably already going to lose money on even if sold as is?

I thought the whole reason for not just buying a 6-speed was because you were attached to this car.

If the car is now so disposable why bother with the swap? Purchase something that will suit your needs better than the CL. A TL 6-speed perhaps. Or a TSX 6-speed.

This isn't a debate over my personal decisions. Just take it as a grain of salt and move on. I'm seeing if there is any interest.

Besides, I only have the car up for sale in the BM. I don't have a huge FS sign on my car.

No more debates please.

So the personal opinion of the thousands of other members on this forum is some how silenced because it doesn't jive with your personal opinion? This public forum should allow debate or discussion of any topic as long as it pertains to the 2nd Gen CL. And as such any opinions expressed by any member in regards to the topic of the thread should some how be limited based on the opinions of the thread's author or a moderator? That's crap. I realize this forum is privately owned and operated but if you, as a moderator, are some how implying that only posts which agree with your stance are welcome then what's the point? If you don't want people commenting on your decisions then don't post updates to the thread or don't start the thread in the first place. And if the public opinion upsets you so much because it is opposite of yours then you have the power to close the thread and you should do so.

Seems as though he jsut doesn't want people debating over things that happen in his personal life, ie: selling the car, or keeping it. He has various reasons for doing certain things. I know I've been in the same boat of "Should I sell it, or not?" I've even posted several FS ads, but to no avail, I had to keep the damn thing.

I remember when you and I believe Soupa thought that Snappy and Choppsie were the same person, and were going to ban them.

I probably sounded a little blunt, but I see what you are saying. Even if I wasn't a moderator I'd ask for some comfort besides saying, quit wasting your money...I've seen the threads about the monster you built when you had the AT: and now with your 6, I'm in no means to say, quit wasting your time and money to build it up when you do. It's your money, you do what you want to do. I'll just sit back and serenate when you decide to put the supercharger on.

btw, this thread won't close.
