Tach Signal?

Anyone know where I can get a Tach signal from; what wire I need to tap into?

By the driver's side shock tower there is the purge control solenoid. IIRC attached to that bracket (or right next to it) is a small little rubber boot hiding a service port. You can tap into that and you'll get the rpm signal.

This is what the purge control solenoid looks like.

This is assuming you're doing something under the hood.

If you're inside the cabin, I would imagine you could tap into the bypass valve control unit (if it's a TypeS). See part #6 (top left) below.

Thanks, I need it for a ZEX Traction Control Window Switch. I can mount it anywhere but it's good to have options. Bypass valve control unit is part #5.
