I'm buying a 2001 CL Type-S this week. It comes with the woodgrain trim, but I would much rather have either the grey/black wood trim or the 2003 style aluminum looking trim. How hard would it be to switch the trim? I'd only want to use the OEM pieces, where is the best/cheapest place to buy them? Thanks for your help.

 

i brought this up a couple months back...noone here that i know of has swapped trims before, so i cannot really answer yer question...i can tell u that the door panels are a bitch to do b/c the pieces are attacked in 1 unit, so yer gonna have to cut out the trim or just live with the perforated panels instead of the ruffled leather ones

You cannot buy just the silver/blackwood door trim pieces. Well let me put that another way. You can buy them, you just have to buy the entire door panel. The door skin will run you $265.00 a side.
