Switchback LEDs Installed

Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum, but would like to contribute none the less. Anyway got the 60 smt 1157 type 2 bulbs from V-leds in the turn signals. and a 194 wedge LED underneath.. Here a few pics.

Those look awesome! Were they expensive and hard to install?

not too bad for all 4 bulbs (2 signals, 2 wedges) and the new flasher equalizer I spent $100 give or take with shipping.

As far as the install, I killed 2 birds with one stone by installing them when clearing the headlights, so it made it easier for sure. Though one of the bulbs was not seated right after i buttoned the car back up, and had to reach up through the wheel well to re-seat the bulb, which was not very hard at all.


FYI i used the butyl tape 5/16" inch roll, from NAPA to reseal the lights, and have plenty left over.

It's actually not nearly that blue. I think Its a combination of the angle, and the setting on the camera. Its more like the last picture, with a hint of blue, Its also not incredibly bright either. Looks pretty legal, plus it blinks amber!
