Hey guys, I was trying to trouble shoot whether I have a bad ballast or a bad bulb on the passenger side HID light.

I took off the bumper, disassembled the headlight by unscrewing the torx screw and cover, and tried to take out the bulb. I noticed that there was a screw holding a metal pin above the bulb so i unscrewed that thinking that held the bulb in place. Well I turned the connector and next thing I heard was a "PING"

Long story short, I'm not sure how to put the metal clip back on. Any of you have a pic of what the clip looks when mounted to the bulb? I've been searing around the forum, but did not find a good clear picture.

Thanks artbran, I think i'm ok by the looks of the pic. Is there more close up pictures of where the clip is? I try to zoom in, but it just gets blurry.

 

I will be able to send you pics tomorrow or friday that are close so when I get my CLS6 parts car... One of the first things that coming off the car is the headlights so I can take a pic then.
