Sunshade Removal?

Sunshade Removal?

Does anyone know how to remove the sunshade? I have the headliner off, and can get to the two front screws, but it seems like the bracket in the rear is making the screws I'm assuming I need to access impossible. Do I need to remove the whole sunroof cassette?

huh? the wind deflector?

just held on with two screws. open the sunroof and unscrew the two screws.

No, I'm referring to the interior sunshade. Mine has a cigarette burn in it from the previous owner, so I'm trying to swap it out.

Ill check the service manual when i get home tonight. Something tells me you'll be dropping the head liner though.

Thanks everyone, I got it figured out. I already had the headliner removed, and yes you do have to remove the whole sunroof cassette to gain access to the rear screws to get the sunshade all the way out.

my sunshade is pretty stiff to move back and forth, especially compared to the new Acuras. You should see if there was any place to put some grease or something.

I tried white lithium grease but that was kinda messy
