subwoofer
Well, it depends on several things. The most common, a trunk mounted subwoofer facing out will cause a lot of rattling on the license plate, which you will hear inside the cabin. Companies such as Tweeter make license plate clips to stop the rattling. Interior panelling may rattle to a degree, but if you're looking for enough bass to shake the car in the first place, you'll likely not hear it.

What I did was use Trimbrite Door Edge (for trucks) and put it around the trunk. Definitely have no trunk rattle but it is not sticking well to the lip of the trunk. May have to find a different and better door edge....
