Even when it's dirty like today, I got a "pretty color!" compliment from another driver at a gas station.

 

Yeah, I've noticed that too. No one's every said "pretty" to me yet... I've gotten "nice" and "cool" though....

 

Well I've even gotten a "nice Honda" from a Bimmer owner at a meet once. And then I took his 2000 325/8 (don't remember the number) convertible through first gear and part of second.

 

Yeah, I can't get over how many people just look at my car when I'm driving. That blue does attract a lot of looks and considering I've only seen one other CL in my area, while it is sort of Accord-ish in looks, it does turn a head or two.

Especially when I blow past most of the competition.

 

Dam, that's a wacky color. It's hard to get a good perception of a car & color in a dealer's lot--you need to see it out with other cars or parked in your driveway.

But don't get the idea I'm bummed--it was the right choice for me. My Legend is charcoal (dark gray), so black would have been a little darker and anthacite a little lighter--not a big change. Too many silver and white cars out there for me, and I've had a red car and the CL's shade of red isn't my favorite. Plus I think the blue fits the CL--better than the TL.

I like it But it's still weird to look at it--must be the 13.5 years with the charcoal Legend...

 

I get compliments all the time!!!!!! People usually want to talk to me about the car after the "pretty color" or "nice color" or "what is that color called"!!! Last guy said I need to get a chome license plate frame to go with my stock chromies!!! Since the car is "debadged", they always want to know what it is. When I tell them it's a type S, I get the "not only does he have a nice color, but sweet car too" look!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! My thougts for my license plate AGN XTC whachya think??????

Whats the drop with the other cl? and what springs do u have on urz

 

We both have NEX coilovers. He's in the process of raising his slightly... scraping too many things.

I measured today from center of wheel to top of wheelwell edge and got 13" front and 12.8" rear (once they've settled a little over the next couple days I'm going back and either having the rears raised a couple twists or the front lowered a couple twists.)

The ride is so stiff now and the steering response is amazing.

My stock rims look a little tacky with the lower stance though. I just wish I had some free loot to drop on aftermarket rims.
