can u hook up subs and amps to the factory system?

Be careful about your ohm loads. The custome Bose crap uses whacky, non-standard ohm ratings (resistance). You can test existing equipment with a multi-meter and a little know-how. I don't know them off the top of my head. A good shop can help.

yes you can.

silverknight has a nice how to diagram. also go to the faq or just search and you'll find the wiring diagram for our factory bose amp which is right next to the jack in the trunk.
