HMM

Well, not calling BS, because it could definitely be a driver or not broken in Engine. But the 350Z is definitely faster than a stock CL-S, 6-speed or Auto.

I don't see any proof the 350z is any faster than the CL-S 6spd.

The CL-S 6SPD dynos the same as the Z, just less TQ.

u think a rental car company would carry the 6-speed Z??? i SERIOUSLY doubt it...i can rattle off at least 2 instances where my brother and a colleague have rented Stang GT convert's in auto to cruise US Highway 1 in CA b/c they didn't have the Stangs in stick...think about it...maintenance on a stick could b huge with people not driving the stick well and frying the clutch/grinding gears all over the place

sounds to me u raced the auto Z, in which case a brand new Z without a broken-in engine may just b a close match

350 Z article in Sportscompact car magazine(road test and dyno0

Go to this link for performance of the new Z which easily beats a stock 6spd cl-s.

Since they had a actual pre-production car on SCC Mag, I don't believe all there figures. 2-4 people who own 350zs on my350z.com have already dynoed them . They are only putting down 220 to the wheels. Compare that to scc pre-production, Nissan did something that cut back the power obviously.

Russ one person on my 350z has dynoed and his dyno was messed up. He said that cars that usually dynoed higher were almosst off 10whp. Dont draw conclusions until more data is present.
