So yesterday at a meet we have I saw a 2nd gen TLS so when everyone left I got next to him and we rolled at 50mph we raced like up to 110mph and he only beat me by half a car when we stopped I asked what mods he has and he says he had a j-pipe with a intake all I have is a intake and I'm not a type-s what do you guys think oh and his was a 6MT MINE IS 5AT all I did was change it to semi auto

 

i think this thread is questionable

2nd gen's dont have j-pipes, they have headers and if it was a 6mt it wouldve dusted you man. by more than 1 car.


i drive one and ive been dead even with 3rd gen tl-s and 1 car down from a 6 speed tl-s SOMETIMES, sometimes i get ahead by 1 car

 

Nice run. If it was a 07-08 TL-S 6MT he should have pulled pretty hard. Maybe the TL-S started in 3rd? I know I have hung with cars on the street that I should not have. So many factors .

are you SURE its a 6 speed? there is DC who has a blue type-s swapped tl with an automatic.

then there is kris who has an abp 6 speed swapped tl-p (non type-s) and last time i checked he has no vtec and a 5500 rpm redline.
