Starting Problems on '01 CL-S

I have an 01 CL-S w/ 18,000 miles. About a week ago I started having problems keeping the engine alive once I started it. It would start, but the engine would sputter and would die. The only way to get it going would be to rev the engine. Once this was done, I wouldn't have any more problems. It almost seems like spark plug wires.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what was the fix.
I do plan to take it to the dealer on Tues.

I've been noticing the car having a bit of time to get fully cranked, but the dealer just said that its due to the cold. he logged it down and this will prove that i brought it up so future problems can be traced back. they should take care of it at the dealer unless they can't reproduce the problem.

We had a few really cold days last week and mine died. Would not start. (Called Roadside Assistance and it took 45 minutes to get thru then almost 6 hours to get a tow truck!! But that's another story). Even with gas pedal depressed it wouldn't start .. just r-r-r-r-r-sputter-sputter. Once the tow truck got there we put jumper cables on and tried cranking the shit out of it. Finally got it to start ... but only by continuing to crank THRU the -sputter-sputter where you usually expect the engine to catch. Thought it might burn out the starter but by then I was so pissed I'd have happily burned the damn thing. Once it started, a couple lights on the cluster lit up and finally the Check Engine light just stayed on. Took it to the dealer .. their analysis .. intermittant O2 sensor problem .. cannot duplicate. So they just reset the Check Engine warning. Funny thing is a couple guys at work have Hondas, not CLs, and theirs died too. Analysis .. O2 sensor problem!! Coincidence ???

Same problem happened to me on Sunday.

You know samething happened to me on Sunday but I realized that it was the battery. Because the car died 3 times at the best buy lot and when i started it it seemed like there was no power and I had to pump some gas. But after I drove it and the next day drove it more.. it was fine.. Im sure its the battery just check whats the % on it
